Actor Goldblum (playing himself) agrees to do a two-week regional theater production of “The Music Man” in his Pennsylvania hometown, because he's in love with the young actress (Wreford) who's cast as Marion the Librarian. He drags a bunch of friends into the production as well and, since Goldblum is hardly a natural for the singing/dancing title role, he undergoes quite a bit of humiliation before opening night. 84m/C DVD . Jeff Goldblum, Illeana Douglas, Ed Begley Jr., Moby, Catherine Wreford, Richard Sabellico; D: Christopher Bradley, Kyle LaBrache; C: Christopher Bradley, Kyle LaBrache; M: David Byrne.
