Born on November 22, 1610; died on June 24, 1684; daughter of Magdalena Sybilla (1587–1659) and John George I (1585–1656), elector of Saxony; married Frederick III, duke of Holstein-Gottorp, on February 21, 1630; children: Sophie Auguste (b. 1630); Magdalena Sybilla of Holstein Gottorp (1631–1719); Christian Albrecht, duke of Holstein-Gottorp (b. 1641); Augusta Maria of Holstein-Gottorp (1649–1728, who married Frederick VII, margrave of Baden-Durlach).
