vi·bur·num / vīˈbərnəm/ • n. a shrub or small tree (genus Viburnum) of the honeysuckle family, typically bearing flat or rounded clusters of small white flowers. Its many species and ornamental hybrids include the guelder rose and wayfaring tree. |

viburnum Genus of flowering shrubs and small trees, native to North America and Eurasia. All have small, fleshy fruits containing single flat seeds. There are c.120 species. Family Caprifoliaceae.
