red podzolic soil
red podzolic soil(krasnozem) A soil profile formed at an advanced stage of weathering and leaching by the process of podzolization; it is similar in appearance and properties to a podzol but associated with the greater degree of chemical weathering and higher iron-oxide concentrations of a humid, tropical environment. See also Ultisols.
