Woking, Canada, UK UK (England): formerly Wocchingas and Wochinges ‘(Territory of) Wocc's, or Wocca's, People’ from an Old English personal name and ‐ingas. They also gave their name to Wokingham ‘Homestead of Wocc's People’ with the additional hām.
