Web page The collection of text, graphics, sound, and video that corresponds to a single window of scrollable material displayed by a browser. A WEB SITE contains a number of Web pages, each of which is written in the HYPERTEXT MARKUP LANGUAGE; one of these pages is designated the HOME PAGE for the site.

Web site This is the term used for a set of linked themed pages which are stored on a WEB SERVER. Such a server can host one Web site or, in the case of an INTERNET SERVICE PROVIDER, can host a large number of sites. Access to a Web site is usually via a HOME PAGE.
