Lupu, Radu (b Galati, 1945). Romanian pianist. First prize Van Cliburn comp. 1966, Enescu int. comp. 1967, and Leeds int. comp. 1969. First London recital, Nov. 1969. USA tour 1972 (début with Cleveland Orch.). Settled in Eng. Salzburg Fest. début 1979.
