Moron

Morón

Morón , city (1991 pop. 641,541), Buenos Aires prov., E Argentina. It is a district administrative center in the Greater Buenos Aires area. Settled in the early 16th cent., Morón became an outpost on the route between Buenos Aires and Chile and Peru. It has meatpacking and food-processing industries.

Morón

Morón, Argentina, Cuba, Venezuela Argentina: takes its name from the Spanish city of Morón de la Frontera. In 1930–43 it was called Seis de Septiembre ‘Sixth of September’ in memory of a military uprising that took place in 1930.
