Manx

Manx , virtually extinct language belonging to the Goidelic or Gaelic group of the Celtic subfamily of the Indo-European family of languages. The last native speaker, Ned Madrell, died in 1974. However, as a result of a revival movement, a small number of children are currently being raised with Manx as their native language. See Celtic languages .
