Lester Keith Piggott
Lester Keith Piggott 1935–, British jockey. A major figure in British horse racing after 1954, Piggott rode over 4,000 winners in Britain. He gained particular success in classic British races such as the Derby , which he won nine times between 1954 and 1983. He also won the Prix de l'Arc de Triomphe three times. He became a trainer in 1990. |

Piggott, Lester Keith
Piggott, Lester Keith (1935– ) English jockey. He rode his first winner at the age of 12. Piggott was champion jockey 11 times between 1960 and 1982. Among 30 victories in English classics, he rode a record nine winners of the Epsom Derby. Piggott won a career total of 4493 races. He retired in 1996.
