Astraea
Astraea a Roman goddess associated with justice, said to have been the last deity to leave the earth, who having lived among humankind during the Golden Age and in retreat in the mountains during the Silver Age, finally left the world for heaven during the evils of the Bronze Age. Her name, which means ‘starry maiden’, was later used as an epithet of Elizabeth I.

Astraea
Astraea Asteroid 5, the fifth asteroid to be discovered, by the German amateur astronomer Karl Ludwig Hencke (1793–1866) in 1845. Astraea is an S-class asteroid of diameter 120 km. Its orbit has a semimajor axis of 2.573 AU, period 4.13 years, perihelion 2.08 AU, aphelion 3.07 AU, and inclination 5°.4.

Astraea , in Greek religion and mythology, goddess of justice; daughter of Zeus and Themis. Because of the wickedness of man, she withdrew from the earth at the end of the Golden Age and was placed among the stars as the constellation Virgo. |
