cappuccino

cap·puc·ci·no / ˌkäpəˈchēnō; ˌkap-/ • n. (pl. -nos) coffee made with milk that has been frothed up with pressurized steam. ORIGIN: 1940s: from Italian, literally ‘Capuchin,’ because its color resembles that of a Capuchin's habit.
