fu·sil·ier / ˌfyoōzəˈli(ə)r/ (also fu·sil·eer) • n. (usu. Fusiliers) a member of any of several British regiments formerly armed with fusils: the Royal Scots Fusiliers. ∎ hist. a soldier armed with a fusil.
