air·man / ˈe(ə)rmən/ • n. (pl. -men) a pilot or member of the crew of an aircraft, esp. in an air force. ∎  a member of the U.S. Air Force of the lowest rank, below sergeant. ∎  a member of the U.S. Navy whose general duties are concerned with aircraft.
