downtime

down·time / ˈdounˌtīm/ (also down time) • n. time during which a machine, esp. a computer, is out of action or unavailable for use. ∎ fig. a time of reduced activity or inactivity: everyone needs downtime to unwind | downtimes for real estate and construction.
