Saurischia
Saurischia (class Reptilia, subclass Archosauria) The order that comprises the ‘lizard-hipped’ dinosaurs, one of the two dinosaur orders. They included bipedal carnivores (Theropoda) and herbivorous tetrapods (Sauropoda). The theropods produced the largest known terrestrial carnivores, and the sauropods yielded the largest known land animals.
