willow herb Any of several species of perennial plants with willow-like leaves, especially Epilobium angustifolium, the fireweed or rosebay willowherb. It has a long unbranched stem with narrow leaves and purple red flowers. Height: to 1m (3.3ft). Family Onagraceae; genus Epilobium.
