Sandhurst

Sandhurst, village, Bracknell Forest, S central England. It is the site of the British army officer-training school, the Royal Military Academy Sandhurst. The original Sandhurst school, the Royal Military College, merged with the Royal Military Academy, formerly at Woolwich, in the 1940s. Winston Churchill was trained at Sandhurst.

Sandhurst

Sandhurst a training college at Camberley, Surrey, for officers for the British army. It was formed in 1946 from an amalgamation of the Royal Military College at Sandhurst in Berkshire and the Royal Military Academy at Woolwich, London.
