NDU

NDU n. (in the UK) Nursing Development Unit: a centre for creative nursing managed directly by nurses, who are responsible for controlling the budget and appointing staff. The unit can be based in hospital or the community in either the public or the private sector. NDUs are committed to practising research-based patient-centred care.
