bracer

brac·er / ˈbrāsər/ • n. inf. an alcoholic drink intended to prepare one for something difficult or unpleasant. brac·er2 • n. a wristguard used in archery, fencing, and other sports. Also called armguard. ∎ hist. a portion of a suit of armor covering the arm.
