Gargantua ★½ 1998
Marine biologist Jack Ellway (Baldwin) and his son are studying the effects of seismic activity on marine life on a Polynesian island, that's also been the scene of a number of mysterious drownings. Then Jack discovers a nearby underwater trench houses a family of giant reptiles. When a two-foot long baby lizard comes ashore, it's clear mom and dad must be close behind. Kinda the small screen version of “Godzilla,” and you know how successful that was. 91m/C VHS .
