un·cut / ˌənˈkət/ • adj. not cut: her hair was left uncut. ∎  (of a text, movie, or performance) complete; unabridged. ∎  (of a stone, esp. a diamond) not shaped by cutting. ∎  (of alcohol or a drug) not diluted or adulterated: large amounts of uncut heroin. ∎  chiefly hist. (of a book) with the edges of its pages not slit open or trimmed off. ∎  (of fabric) having its pile loops intact.
