Myrmecophilidae

Myrmecophilidae (ant-loving crickets; order Orthoptera, suborder Ensifera) Family of small, ovoid, wingless crickets which live in ant nests. They feed on ant secretions and appear to be accepted by the ants as colony members. Representatives of the single myrmecophilid genus are found in Europe, Asia, America, and Australia.
