Euryhalina
Euryhalina (brittle-stars; subclass Ophiuroidea, order Phrynophiurida) A suborder of brittle-stars in which the small disc lacks plates. Both the arms and the disc are completely covered with a thick skin. Vertical enrolling of the branched arms may result in a basket-like form. The suborder is known since the
Devonian.
