Cetopsidae

Cetopsidae (whale catfish; subclass Actinopterygii, order Siluriformes) A small family of freshwater catfish that have a scaleless body, three pairs of barbels around the mouth, small eyes, a small single dorsal and no adipose fin, and a low anal fin. There are about 12 species, found in S. America.
