Reimann, Aribert (b Berlin, 1936). Ger. composer and pianist. Exceptional accompanist, often with Fischer-Dieskau (Salzburg Fest. 1971). Comps. influenced by Berg, Webern, and the mus. of India. Abandoned serialism in 1967. Has set texts by Shakespeare and Shelley.
