Longo, Alessandro

Longo, Alessandro (b Amantea, 1864; d Naples, 1945). It. pianist and composer. Prof. of pf., Naples Cons., 1897–1934. Ed. complete hpd. works of D. Scarlatti in 11 vols., giving each work a Longo (L.) no. This numbering system has been superseded by that of Kirkpatrick.
