Londonderry Air

Londonderry Air. Irish folk-tune first pubd. in 1855 in Petrie coll. Several sets of words have been fitted to it: ‘Would I were Erin's apple blossom’ by A. P. Graves, ‘Emer's Farewell’, also by Graves, and ‘Danny Boy’ by F. E. Weatherly. Arr. for various combinations by Grainger (as Irish Tune from County Derry).
