Hassler Hans Leo

Hassler Hans Leo [ Hans Leo Hasler], (b Nuremberg, 1562; d Frankfurt-am-Main, 1612). Ger. composer and organist. Org. at Augsburg 1586–1600, Nuremberg 1601–8, Dresden from 1608. Wrote It. canzonette, cantiones sacrae, madrigals, masses, and motets.
