Pf. piece comp. 1942 by Stravinsky for Barnum and Bailey Circus to be danced by troupe of young elephants who gave f.p. in 1942 to arr. for wind band scored by David Resksin. Composer's version for sym. orch. f.p. Cambridge, Mass., 1944; f.p. in England, London 1952.
