Pick's disease

Pick's disease (piks) n.
1. a cause of dementia. The damage is mainly in the frontal and temporal lobes of the brain. [ A. Pick (1851–1924), Czech psychiatrist]

2. a syndrome in constrictive pericarditis, in which there is hepatic enlargement, ascites, and pleural effusion. [ F. Pick (1867–1926), Czech physician]
