Gardner's syndrome (gard-nerz) n. a variant form of familial adenomatous polyposis in which polyps in the colon are associated with fibromas and osteomas (benign tumours), especially of the skull and jaw, and multiple sebaceous cysts. [ E. J. Gardner (1909–89), US physician]
