Bazin's disease
Bazin's disease (ba-zanz) n. a rare disease of young women in which tender nodules develop under the skin in the calves; it is a tuberculide. The nodules may break down and ulcerate though they may clear up spontaneously. Medical name:
erythema induratum. [ A. P. E. Bazin (1807–78), French dermatologist]
