5HT1 agonist

5HT1 agonist (triptan) n. a drug that stimulates serotonin receptors, causing constriction of cerebral blood vessels, and is used for the relief of migraine headaches. Such drugs include sumatriptan (Imigran), almotriptan (Almogran), naratriptan (Naramig), and zolmitriptan (Zomig).
