Nansen passport a document of identification issued to stateless people after the First World War, named after the Norwegian arctic explorer Fridtjof
Nansen (1861–1930), who was responsible for its issue. He received the Nobel Peace Prize in 1922 for organizing relief work among victims of the Russian famine.
