Niger-Congo languages

Niger-Congo languages Group of c.1000 languages spoken by more than 300 million people in sub-Saharan Africa. The main ones are Bantu (spoken in s Africa), Fulani (Guinea, Senegal, and other w African countries), Swahili (e coast), Yoruba (mainly Nigeria) and Malinke (Mali).
