Kieslowski, Krzysztof

Kieslowski, Krzysztof (1941–96) Polish film director. He gained wide praise for the epic Dekalog (1988). Kieslowski's final work, The Three Colours trilogy – Blue (1993), White (1993) and Red (1994) – is a masterwork of European cinema.
