Farrell, Terry (1938– ) British post-modern architect known for his witty imagery and anthropomorphism. His projects include the redevelopment of Charing Cross Station, London (1991), and the Edinburgh International Conference Centre, Scotland (1995). His hallmarks include strategies for breaking down the verticality of buildings by introducing variations in colour and banding. See also post-modernism
