mixing ratio
mixing ratio Ratio of the mass of a given gas (e.g. water vapour) to that of the remaining gas (e.g. dry air) in the mixture. The examples given yield the ‘humidity mixing ratio’, expressed most conveniently in grams per kilogram of dry air. See also
