Raudra (Skt., ‘furious’). In Indian literature one of eight prevailing sentiments, rasas. Raudra is based in turn on the complementary ‘emotion’ (bhāva) of anger, krodha. The term raudra may also denote a follower of the god Rudra or a class of evil spirits.
