Minor Prophets (Aram., terei asar, ‘twelve’). The collection of twelve shorter prophetic books in the Hebrew scriptures. It includes the books of Hosea, Joel, Amos, Obadiah, Jonah, Micah, Nahum, Habbakuk, Zephariah, Haggai, Zechariah, and Malachi.
