Kaṛāh praśād

Kaṛāh praśād (Pañjābī, kaṛāh, ‘iron bowl’, + praśād [= prasadā]). Among Sikhs, sweet food offered to all attending worship in the gurdwārā. After the service the kaṛāh praśād is distributed to all present as a sign of their equality and unity and to ensure that no one leaves the Gurū's presence empty handed.
