Śīś Gañj Gurdwārā

Śīś Gañj Gurdwārā (śīś, Pañjābī, ‘head’). Sikh shrine.

1. This gurdwārā marks the place in Chandnī Chauk, Delhi, where Gurū Tegh Bahādur was beheaded in 1675 CE, on the orders of the Mughal emperor, Auraṅgzeb.
