Hablik, Wenzel August

Hablik, Wenzel August (1881–1934). Bohemian Arts-and-Crafts designer. He finished an influential series of drawings of crystalline structures in 1909 (exhibited in 1912), and produced several powerful architectural fantasies after the 1914–18 war, some in association with Arbeitsrat für Kunst and Die Gläserne Kette. He envisaged airborne settlements in the future, as in Cyklus Architektur (1925). His work had some influence on German Expressionism.
