Daniell, Thomas (1749–1840). English artist. His views of topographical subjects in India, produced in collaboration with his nephew, William Daniell (1769–1837), were published in Oriental Scenery (1808) and Picturesque Voyage to India (1810) which greatly influenced the Hindoo and Indian styles during C19.
