Born September 17, 1942, in El Paso, TX; daughter of Juan (a merchant and restaurant owner) and Lucita (a merchant and restaurant owner; maiden name, Castanon) Moreno; married Elias Ontiveros; children: Nicolas, Elias, Alejandro. Education: Texas Woman's University, B.S.
