Thirty Tyrants

Thirty Tyrants oligarchy of ancient Athens (404-403 BC). It was created by Lysander under Spartan auspices after the Peloponnesian War. Critias and Theramenes were prominent members. It was overthrown at Piraeus (now Piraiévs) by Thrasybulus .
