Orrefors
Orrefors (ôrəfôrs´,–fôsh´), town, Kronoberg co., SE Sweden. It is noted for the manufacture of fine crystal and glassware. Simon Gate and Edward Hald, who made Orrefors famous, were outstanding engravers of glassware, and their work is represented in numerous collections. The town has a museum of glass.
