The community has 70 churches, a hospital, library, symphony orchestra, theatre group, a mall, 11 theatres and a community concert series. Local recreation includes tennis, golf, trap shooting, a multipurpose event center, swimming pools, bowling alleys, excellent fishing and hunting, city and mountain parks, archery and rifle ranges, and a ski area. Several rodeos are held here each year, as well as skiing and mountain climbing events.
