Lantins, Hugo de
Lantins, Hugo de, Franco-Flemish composer; b. probably in Lantin, near Liège, c. 1399; d. place and date unknown. He may have been related to Arnold de Lantins. He spent his early career in Italy, where he wrote the ballata Tra quante regione (1421). In addition to other ballate, he composed rondeaux and sacred music. For his works, see C.
